Three tabs, three dirty jobs done for you
Each tab is independent. The security features have a dedicated engine (security_engine.py) that works only on the domains you specify.
Newsletter Manager
Finds the subscriptions that piled up in your mailboxes over the years and removes them one by one, without you having to hunt for the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of every email.
- iCloud and Hotmail mailboxes
- Sign-in with App-Specific Password
- Same reliability as v2.0
Data broker removal
Searches for your name on 24 data brokers and automatically sends personal data deletion requests, as a service like Incogni would — but from your PC.
- Search by name
- Automatic removal requests
- No recurring subscription
Security Scanner
Replicates locally the core checks of a pentesting service: enter a domain or email address you own and get a complete picture.
- SPF, DMARC, DKIM and MX records
- SSL/TLS: validity, version, encryption, SANs
- HTTP security headers, including HSTS
You are the server
InboxClear has no backend collecting anything: credentials and mailbox data are handled exclusively on your computer. That is why the program can be trusted to touch your mail.
- App-Specific Password (iCloud, Microsoft) encrypted and stored locally
- Compromised-password check with k-anonymity: only the 5-character prefix of the SHA-1 hash is sent to HaveIBeenPwned, never the password
- The security module queries only public services (DNS, certificates, headers) on the domains you specify
- No telemetry, no account, no cloud
Your inbox, as it was at the start.
Double-click, three tabs, and your mail goes back to being a place where only the things you expect arrive.
